Rabun County Criminal and Traffic Ticket Defense

Rabun County is known for its beautiful wooded mountains and lakes. It is located in northeast Georgia and borders both North Carolina and South Carolina. Clayton is its county seat.

Our office handles felony and misdemeanor criminal cases in the Superior Court of Rabun County. The judges for the Superior Court are Judge Russell Smith and Judge Chan Caudell. Superior Court is held in the Rabun County Government Building located at 25 Courthouse Square Clayton, GA 30525.

Rabun County does not have a state court system to handle misdemeanor and traffic tickets. Most of those charges are instead handled by the Rabun County Probate Court.

The Rabun County Probate Court, located in the County Government Building, holds court the first Thursday monthly at 9:00 am and the second Thursday monthly at 9:00 am. The judge of this court is Judge Lillian W. Garrett.
