New Year's Eve 2025 is nearly upon us. Many will celebrate the arrival of the new year with cocktails, imbibables and other intoxicating substances. For those of legal age, that is a choice.  In lining up plans for the evening, you should plan now for the trip home, because law enforcement will be waiting for those who did not think ahead.  Arrange a designated driver and help them stay sober.  Line up a taxi, Uber or Lyft.  Find out if there are free rides home available in your community.  Most importantly, do not drive home while impaired, and if you are consuming, you should assume you are impaired.
